Breathtaking views over Broulee’s beautiful Bengello Beach. The Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Clubhouse offers a relaxed yet inspiring setting ideal for weddings, celebrations, workshops and community events.

Located just 15 minutes south of Batemans Bay and a little over two hours from Canberra, the venue combines convenience with coastal charm. You’ll also have access to a commercial kitchen and a licensed bar to help create a seamless event experience.

Venue Capacity

Maximum capacity (including staff): 180 people
Recommended maximum for social events: 160 guests
Meeting room: 20 pax

Booking Fees

Private Functions: $950/day + GST (includes cleaning)
Commercial Use: $50/hour + GST (e.g. yoga, dance, fitness classes)
Meeting room: $30/hour + GST or $150/day + GST (or at Club discretion)

What is included in the Function Room?

The Function Room includes access to the following facilities and equipment:

Commercial kitchen and catering equipment
Crockery and cutlery for up to 100 guests
Trestle tables (round and rectangular)
Approximately 100 chairs
Tablecloths (must be washed after use)
Lift access

What are my upfront costs?

Bond: A $500 bond is required for all private function bookings. This is refundable 14 days after the event, provided there is no excessive damage or additional cleaning required.

Deposit: A $300 deposit is required at the time of booking.

Is there a discount for members?

Yes. Membership benefits may apply for members who:

Have maintained financial membership for at least 24 months
Have been actively involved in the Club during that time

All membership discounts are subject to approval.

What are the bar costs?

Only the Club’s trained and qualified bar staff may operate the bar and serve alcohol.
A $200 cash payment per bar staff member is required per function, payable directly to staff before service begins.
BYO alcohol and soft drinks are not permitted. If you require specific products, please discuss this with the House Captain.
