How it works
Nippers is held at South Broulee Beach on Sunday mornings between 9.00am and 11.00pm and some Saturday afternoons between 3.00pm – 5.00pm.
Note: Parents must accompany their child to the front of the gear shed for a 8.50am briefing prior to Nippers. All parents/caregivers are expected to remain on the beach throughout Nippers.
How to join
All Nippers and adult members need to be registered with Surf Life Saving New South Wales. This can be done online via the links on the membership page or in person at the Nippers sign on day.
Parent participation
All Surf Club members are volunteers and we encourage parents to become involved and enjoy the activities with their children. There are many ways in which you as a parent/guardian can help. You could become an age manager for the various age groups, help out with BBQs after Nippers, look after gear or help us fundraise. You could do your Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) or Bronze Medallion and become proficient to help out with water safety or join patrols. Training courses are held throughout the beginning of the season. We encourage you to join in and contact us if you are interested.
