A tribute from the Club
This extract is from the 1986/87 Annual Report. The then President Terry Freeman said:
“I was elected President for the latter part of the 86/87 season, following Greg Pay and family leaving the district. Since the Broulee Club beginning 8 seasons ago, Greg and Judy have played a large part in the establishment and development of the Club. A great deal of time and energy has been expended over these years, both having held many and various Committee positions. It would be true to say that the Club would not be this far down the track without their involvement. To Greg, Judy and family a special thanks and I am sure all the Club wishes them well as they settle into a new area.”
Further contributions
The Club named the current jet boat after Greg Pay in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Club.
In 1983, Greg and Judy Pay organised the Broulee Night of Stars fundraiser which raised $1,700 for the club.
Greg was elected a Life Member of Broulee Surfers SLSC in 1996.
Judy Pay served as Club Treasurer from 1982 to 1984 and as Branch Delegate in 1983/84.
