For locals and visitors alike, the Broulee Surfers clubhouse is where the moments that matter get celebrated. Weddings, baby showers, milestone birthdays, wakes — the big occasions that deserve a special setting. And week to week, it’s where the community gathers too: yoga and pilates classes, workshops, meetings, workplace Christmas parties and everything in between.

Perched above Broulee’s Bengello Beach with floor-to-ceiling ocean views, it’s one of the South Coast’s best-kept secrets for events. Whether you’re planning something intimate or a room full of people, the setting does half the work for you.

Located just 15 minutes south of Batemans Bay and a little over two hours from Canberra — close enough to be convenient, far enough to feel like a proper escape.

The main function room

The main hall seats up to 180 guests and opens directly onto a deck overlooking the beach. Natural light floods the space all day, and when the sun goes down, there’s nowhere better to be on the South Coast.

You’ll have access to a commercial kitchen, a licensed bar, and the outdoor deck for drinks on arrival or an after-dinner sunset. BYO catering is welcome — we can suggest local caterers if you need them.

Ready to book?

Private function hire starts from $950/day + GST, cleaning included. The Club’s licensed bar is staffed by our own trained team — bar staff are available at $200 per person, with a minimum of two required for all functions.
