POLICY FOR COMPETITION ENTRIES

No carnival competition entries are to be processed without prior payment being made with the exception of local carnivals.

POLICY FOR TOWING CLUB GEAR

It is a requirement of the Club for members (or any other persons) to have current comprehensive motor vehicle insurance before carting or towing any BSSLSC equipment. Any costs incurred or damage occasioned to said equipment remains the responsibility of the member or driver concerned. The Club MAY assist in exceptional circumstances, but this shall be at the Committee’s absolute discretion.

POLICY FOR CLUB EXPENSES

That any expenses on purchases over $100.00 need to be preauthorised by the Committee before invoices will be paid.

POLICY FOR PROCESS OF NOMINATIONS FOR CLUB AWARDS

The nominees for Club Person of the Year and Junior Achiever of the Year Awards be nominated by Club members and decided by the Awards Committee.
AND that if there are insufficient nominations for the above two awards, the Club Committee will provide additional names.

POLICY FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF COMPETITION COSTS

Any members that need help to meet competition costs for whatever reason should make representation to the Committee on an individual basis. Each case to be dealt with on its own merits.

POLICY FOR HALL HIRE RATES

Let the corporate long term hire fee be the amount of $850.00 for a period of 6 weeks and all other hires be $400.00 per night with an additional deposit bond of $400.00.

POLICY FOR HALL HIRE ALLOCATION

50% of hire fee income each season is to be put aside into a sub account for future hall maintenance.

POLICY FOR VEHICLE DAMAGE DURING SURFCLUB ACTIVITIES

In the first instance the onus is on the driver of the damaged vehicle to pay for any damage. The Club is then prepared to look at each case on its own merits. This Policy excludes fines and unpaid toll bill penalties which are solely the driver’s responsibility.

POLICY FOR AWARD TRAINING FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS OUTSIDE THE LOCAL REGION

Local school participants continue to either pay or patrol, but for schools outside the Eurobodalla, we encourage but do not enforce the need to patrol.
